The IKAA Gathering in Seoul: The global meeting of Korean adoptees

Every three years, the IKAA (International Korean Adoptee Association) organizes the largest global gathering of Korean origin adoptees in Seoul. A unique event to reconnect, share, and explore your roots.

Why participate?

  • Connect: Meet people from around the world who share a similar journey to yours.

  • Search for your origins: Enjoy hands-on workshops and advice for your biological family search (DNA, records, agencies).

  • Discover Korea: Participate in cultural activities, conferences, and outings to rediscover the country at your own pace.

Who is it for?

The event is open to all Korean adoptees, whether it’s your first trip to Korea or not. Your loved ones (spouses, children, friends) are also welcome.
